Detailed description
There is huge potential for mobile phones to provide previously unavailable services to communities in the developing world; in areas such as agriculture, health, education and more. Join us to learn about the opportunities that exist and the tools that are already making changes happen.
Ken Banks, (kiwanja.net) will be speaking on his experience of establishing FrontlineSMS, and sharing how this tool is being used to support many different international development projects.
This event will bring together technology specialists and international development practitioners, all keen to explore how technology can be used for social good.
